What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, via direct communication, and withiin the course of our work together, why I collect it, how it is stored, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
The data I collect
• Your name and contact details when you contact me via email or through an enquiry form.
• The content of your message so I can respond appropriately.
• Strictly‑necessary cookies required for basic website functioning — no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies are used.
If we embark on therapy work together, then I also collect some further details: Basic details for contact and record keeping (address, age, GP and next of kin contact details), and clinical notes (i.e. personal material as relevant to the purpose of therapy). Any sensitive data is kept separately to identification data, so that in the unlikely event of a data breach, clients will not be identifiable in any sensitive information.
Why I use your data (lawful bases)
• Responding to enquiries and requests.
• Record keeping for tax and business administration.
• Maintaining website functionality.
• To provide therapy and fulfill your duty of care: Clinical note taking is necessary to carry out my duties as a therapist and meet the requirements of my BACP registration and insurance provider.
How long I keep your data

Sharing your data
Contact data through the website may be processed by secure service providers who support my website and email. Data is not sold, shared for marketing, or transferred outside the UK.
I do not share clinical notes/informatio with anyone, except verbally with my supervisor as per my BACP registration requirements (with identifying details removed and client anonymity preserved).
Your rights
